  Abstract

A new catalytic system has been developed in the synthesis of 2-amino-5-nitro-4,6-diarylcyclohex-1-ene-1,3,3- tricarbonitriles using carbonate on polymer support (Amberlyst A-26 NaCO3 -). Short reaction time, simplicity of isolation, safe catalyst and high yields of product are the features.
