  Abstract

본 연구는 기존 콘택트렌즈 재료에 Au colloid를 첨가한 후 농도조건을 다양화 하여 70 oC에서 약 40분, 80 oC에서 약 40분 마지막으로 100 oC에서 약 40분 동안의 열처리 공정을 거쳐 공중합 하였다. 중합 후 생성된 고분자를 사용하여 콘택트렌즈를 제조하고 물리적 특성을 측정한 결과, 산소투과율 9 ~ 12 × 10-9 cm/s mL 2/mL × mmHg, 함수율 27.84% ~ 32.17%, 굴절률 1.432 ~ 1.443을 나타내었으며, 가시광선 투과율 83.2% ~ 89.5% 그리고 인장강도 값은 0.141 kgf ~ 0.152 kgf를 나타내었다. 또한 생성된 고분자는 콘택트렌즈로 사용 가능한 물리적 특성에 부합되어 안 의료용 기능성 소재로 의 응용이 충분히 가능할 것으로 판단된다. This study added Au colloid in martial of conventional contact lens in various concentrations and copolymerized by heating at 70 oC for 40 minutes, 80 oC for 40 minutes, and finally, 100 oC for 40 minutes. Using the polymer produced through the copolymerization process, we have produced a contact lens and measured the physical characteristics which showed oxygen transmissibility of 9 ~ 12 × 10-9 cm/s mL 2/mL × mmHg, water content of 27.84% ~ 32.17%, refractive index of 1.432 ~ 1.443, visible transmittance of 83.2% ~ 89.5% and tensile strength of 0.141 kgf ~ 0.152 kgf. The polymer satisfied the physical properties required to produce contact lenses. Also, we judged that the polymer is suitable to be applied as a functional material for ophthalmological purposes.
