  Abstract

이 연구에서는 제7차 교육과정에 따른 중등 과학 교과서의 화학 단원에 포함된 STS 내용 중 윤리 ·가치 영역을 중심으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과 제7차 교육과정의 과학 교과서는 제6차 교육과정의 과학 교과서에 비해 다양한 항목을 포함하고 있었다. STS 내용을 각각 지식, 기능, 윤리·가치, 실행 영역별로 다시 분류하였다. 그 결과 대부분의 STS 내용이 지식 영역에 포함되었고, 윤리·가치 영역과 실행 영역에 해당하는 사례는 드물었다. 이들은 대부분 읽기 자료로 사용되었다. The purpose of this paper is to analyze ethics and value domains of the STS contents in the chemistry parts of secondary science textbooks developed under the 7th national curriculum. The results indicated that the science textbooks developed under the 7th national curriculum contained more various categories than those developed under the 6th national curriculum. Each of the STS contents was further categorized into ‘knowledge’, ‘skill’, ‘ethics and value’, and ‘action’ domains. The results showed that most of the STS contents belonged to ‘knowledge’ domain, and there were few cases for ‘ethics and value’ and ‘action’ domains. Most of them were used for reading materials.
