  Abstract

137Cs을 선택적으로 분리, 농축하기 위하여 ammoniumphosphotungstate(NH4PW) 입자를 실리카겔 매질에 분산시켜 NH4PW-실리카겔 무기이온교환체를 제조하고 물리, 화학적 안정도와 137Cs에 대한 흡착특성을 조사하였다. NH4PW-실리카겔은 400℃ 이하 그리고 pH 9.5 이하에서 안정하였으며 70 wt% NH4PW-실리카겔의 흡착 총괄용량은 0.1 및 5M HNO3용액에서 각각 0.31 및 0.27mmol/g이었다. 산의 농도가 크고 화학조성이 매우 복잡한 방사성폐액에 함유되어 있는 Cs 핵종의 분리와 농축에 적용해본 결과 134Cs와 137Cs이 99% 이상 흡착됨을 확인하였다. In order to separate and preconcentrate 137Cs selectively, NH4PW-silica gel inorganic ion exchanger was prepared by dispersion of the NH4PW particles into the silica gel matrix, and its sorption properties for Cs+ and physical and chemical stabilities were investigated. It was thermally stable up to 400℃ and at pH range below 9.5. Overall capacities of the 70 wt% NH4PW-silica gel in 0.1 and 5 M HNO3 solutions were 0.31 and 0.27 mmol/g respectively. It was identified for the 70 wt% NH4PW-sxilica gel to remove above 99% of 134Cs and 137Cs from a highly acidic radioactive waste solution containing various radionuclides.
