Electric Conductance of Dilute Solutions of Lithium, Sodium and Potassium Chloride in Isopropanol-Water Mixtures

  Abstract

여러 조성의 isopropanol-물 혼합용매중에서 LiCl, NaCl 및 KCl의 희박용액의 전도도를 측정하였다. 그결과, 농도에 따르는 당량전도도의 변화가 Debye-Huckel-Onsager 식에 대해서 좋은 일치를 보였따. 또한 용매중의 isopropanol 조성이 증가함에 따라 극한당량전도도 Λ0의 값이 급격히 감소하며 이것은 용매의 점도증가 및 유도상수의 감소로부터 예측되는 바와 같다. 그리고 isopropanol의 몰분율이 0.0, 0.1 및 0.2인 용매중에서는 Λ0가 Λ0,LiCl < Λ0,NaCl < Λ0,KCl의 순으로 증가하고 있으나, 0.3 몰분율 isopropanol-물중에서는 Λ0,LiCl < Λ0,KCl < Λ0,NaCl의 순으로 바뀌고 있다. 또한 Walden product Λ0η0는 0.1몰분율 isopropanol-물중에서 최대치를 보여 주었다. The conductances of dilute solutions of LiCl, NaCl and KCl in a series of isopropanol-water mixtures were determined at 30℃. The values of equivalent conductance agreed well with Debye-Huckel-Onsager equation and the limiting equivalent conductance was greatly reduced as the isopropanol content of the solvent was increased in accord with predictions based on solvent viscosity and dielectric properties. Also, the limiting equivalent conductance increased in sequence Λ0,LiCl < Λ0,NaCl < Λ0,KCl in 0.0, 0.1 and 0.2 mole fraction isopropanol, but Λ0,LiCl < Λ0,KCl < Λ0,NaCl in 0.3 mole fraction ispropanol. The maximum Walden product, Λ0η0 was found in 0.1 mole fraction isopropanol for all electrolytes.
